Celebrating the Holiday Weekend: 4th of July

July 4th with the kids

Happy 4th of July!!

Celebrating all weekend can leave the day after a holiday like one big hangover. Even if we try to keep a balance of activities and down time, the heightened excitement always trumps routines (naps). Keeping some parenting outings and craft activities up my sleeve the remainder of the week will help ease into the summer routine.

We created some lasting memories this weekend and also checked off some of our Summer Bucket List!

Food was eaten!

Spending time as a family always makes me happy. Sometimes we get to share the time with the grandparents too. Aaron’s parents took the  kids one night and we met them on the 4th at their lake.
